How booking works
From browsing to boarding — here is exactly what happens when you reserve a seat on OnTrip.
1. Find a departure
Search by destination, departure city or date. Every listing has a confirmed start date, so you know when the trip leaves rather than "sometime in July".
Each card shows the per-person price, the number of nights, the seats still available and the specialist running the trip.
2. Compare like for like
Add up to three trips to the compare tray and view them side by side: price, duration, rating, inclusions, itinerary and the operator behind each one.
Wishlist anything you are not ready to book — saved trips follow your account across devices.
3. Request your seats
Choose the departure, the number of travellers and your occupancy preference, then submit a booking request with the traveller details.
Your seats are held while the operator reviews the request. You see the status change on your dashboard, and the operator sees the same request in theirs.
4. Confirm and pay
Once the operator accepts, the booking moves to confirmed and you settle payment through the method shown at checkout — JazzCash, Easypaisa or card.
Where an escrow-style collection rail is available, funds are released to the operator only after the departure has been verified, so you are not paying for a trip that never left.
5. Travel, then review
After the trip, leave a rating and a written review from your dashboard. Reviews are tied to a completed booking, so the ratings you read come from people who actually travelled.
If anything went wrong, report the trip or the operator from the same page and our team will follow up.
