Cancellation & refunds
How cancellations work, when money comes back, and who is responsible for returning it.
Cancelling your booking
You can cancel from your traveller dashboard as long as the trip has not completed. Cancelling releases your seats back to the departure so other travellers can book them.
Because your contract is with the operator, the refund you are entitled to depends on their cancellation policy, which is shown on the trip page before you book.
Typical cancellation windows
Most operators follow a tiered policy: a full refund less payment costs when you cancel more than two weeks before departure, a partial refund within two weeks, and no refund in the final 72 hours when seats can no longer be resold.
Always read the policy on the specific trip you are booking — it overrides this general description.
If the operator cancels
If an operator cancels a departure you are entitled to a full refund of what you paid, or a transfer to another departure of equivalent value if you prefer.
Departures can be cancelled for insufficient bookings, road closures or security advisories. Operators must tell you as early as possible, and the seat release is visible on your dashboard.
How refunds are paid
Refunds go back to the same method you paid with. Where you paid the operator directly by bank transfer or wallet, the operator processes the refund and we follow up on your behalf if it does not arrive.
Card refunds normally appear within 5–10 business days depending on your bank; wallet refunds are usually faster.
If you disagree with a decision
Report the booking from your dashboard or email [email protected] with the booking reference and the reason. We look at the cancellation timestamps and the operator's published policy, and step in where an operator has not followed their own terms.
